System Center Operations Manager Integration
Organisations with existing on-premises System Center Operations Manager infrastructure can increase their return on investment with OMS. Operations Manager management groups can be leveraged to securely send monitoring and alert data to your OMS workspace hosted in Azure where alert data from both datacentre and cloud can be viewed in a single pane of glass.
Combining these capabilities with powerful search and analysis tools available in the OMS portal provides superior operational insights to modern IT infrastructure. The OMS agent can also be used as a to monitor on-premises infrastructure without the requirement of existing Operation Manager infrastructure.
OMS Integration with System Center Operations Manager
The OMS O365 solution provides an overview of all ongoing user activities such as Sharepoint file download or access requests, Mailbox activity and AAD user and group changes.
Monitor user activities on your Office 365 accounts to analyse usage patterns as well as identify behavioural trends. You can extract specific usage scenarios, such as files that are shared outside your organization or the most popular SharePoint sites.

The OMS agent can collect Windows Server event log data, IIS logs, security logs, performance metrics and more from both datacentre and cloud VMs hosted in Azure or AWS.
This provides organisations with near real-time operational insights into machine data with ready-made search intelligence and intuitive dashboards. Data can even be exported to tools such as Power BI to create custom dashboards and reports which can be published to your organisations SharePoint site.
OMS includes licencing for Azure automation which leverages PowerShell as the platform for process automation and desired state configuration to assist with error-prone tasks which are performed either on-premises or in a cloud environment. Microsoft has made a huge investment in PowerShell, even providing support on Linux based systems!
