VMware vSphere and Microsoft patch roll-up issue

Microsoft recently released a Convenience Update patch for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1. Unfortunately, the patch affects VM’s using the VMXNet3 adapter causing network connectivity issues. The work around is to uninstall the Convenience Update patch.  Microsoft and VMware are working on a resolution to the issue.
